Each year, on the first Saturday of June, thousands of Virginians gather to remove harmful litter and debris from the watershed's green spaces, roadsides, rivers, and streams. Join CBF and Title Sponsor PRA Group June 1 for the 2024 Clean the Bay Day! A true Virginian tradition, it is an annual opportunity for individuals, families, and groups to give back to their local waterways.

This one-day event has a massive cumulative impact, and it's all thanks to our incredible volunteers. Since it began in 1989, Clean the Bay Day has engaged more than 170,066 volunteers who have removed more than 7 million pounds of debris throughout Virginia.
