We’re thrilled to share that our Beach Toy Recycling Program was recently featured on News 3 WTKR! A big thank you to John Hood for helping shine a spotlight on this important initiative to reduce plastic waste at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
The story highlights how beachgoers can now donate gently used toys instead of leaving them behind—keeping our beaches cleaner and giving toys a second life. With support from our partners and local sponsors, these brightly decorated recycling boxes make it easy for families to “leave a toy, take a toy” and help protect our coast.
