Celebrate Earth Day with us at a fun and interactive Build and Paint Community Event! This is the perfect opportunity for families to get involved in meaningful activities, learn about protecting our waterways, and support a cleaner environment.
Help build and paint “beach toy libraries” or unique recycling boxes placed at high-traffic beach locations.
Meet organizations like Clean Virginia Waterways, VB Surf and Rescue Museum, and Lynnhaven River NOW. Discover how they’re working to reduce marine debris and how you can make a difference!
Take home a tree for your yard and contribute to a greener future.
Gather supplies to conduct your own sunset beach cleanup with your family on Earth Day.
This event will take place on the lawn of the Virginia Beach Surf and Rescue Museum, right on the boardwalk, offering a beautiful setting for community connection and environmental action.
Take part in this positive community effort by sponsoring a beach toy recycling box (or three)! Your logo and business name will be displayed on a metal sign attached to the boxes. You can paint your own box or collaborate with CVW and Lynnhaven River NOW to have local students paint it for you.
Options for sponsorship include $250 for one box or $500 for three boxes.
Support your community and showcase your commitment to the environment with this sponsorship opportunity!
Have questions or want to help construct the boxes? Reach out to Emily at Emily@cleanvirginiawaterways.org
Come create, learn, and celebrate Earth Day, and be part of a vibrant community effort to protect our environment. Together, we can make a lasting impact. We can’t wait to see you there!
